How It Works

 

Start your Photo Cake with a plain top

Start with a plain (undecorated) cake. If the cake was frozen or refrigerated, let it soften at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes. Using white, butter cream frosting is recommended. Spread the frosting as smoothly as possible.

 

 

 

Remove icing photo from the plastic bag

Take the Icing Photo out of the plastic bag it arrives in, and let it sit out in room temperature for about 15 minutes.

 

 

 

Remove the icing sheet

Peel the Icing Photo from the backing.

 

 

 

Lay icing sheet on your photo cake

Holding the Icing Photo at the ends, place it on your cake, starting in the middle and laying it down to the edges. Gently pat out any wrinkles to smooth out the Icing Photo.

 

 

 

Decorate your photo cake!

Add your decorations, borders or edging. You can write on the Icing Photo with frostings or icing gels as desired.
